Conflicts caused by DiC naming error:
1) When controlled by the Dark Kingdom; says he doesn't remember the name Darien (but  calls himself Prince Darien).
2) ChibiUsa knows her parents' names and manages not to discover they are Usagi and Mamoru of the 20th century (their names changed when they assumed the throne).

Wears a black tuxedo, top hat, cape, and shoes. Also wears a white bow tie, vest, dress shirt, and a mask. He carries a black gentleman's staff.

In the manga, a red ribbon hangs around the collar of his shirt, which suspends a golden spiked pendant below his tie.

Calling his girlfriend " Usako." He loves her very much and would do anything to protect her. He dies on multiple accounts in efforts to save her life.

Before dating, he teases her, calling her odango atama (dumpling head) or meatball-head (dub), making fun of her hair. Odango are Japanese dumplings (a dessert).
