English Name: Neflite/ Neflyte

Alter Ego: Masato Sanjouin/ Maxfield Stanton; a young millionaire.

Ranking: One of the four high generals ruled by Queen Beryl. He used to be responsible for protecting the good Prince Endymion, but was eventually influenced, along with the ther generals, to succumb to the evil ways of the Dark Kingdom, and serve Queen Beryl. He is the second general to be responsible for collecting human energy on behalf of the evil Queen Beryl.

Persona: He uses his good looks to his advantage, along with his suave personality. He uses people's strong feelings to transform them into youma that will do his bidding.

Romantic Interest: Naru Osaka. Although he initially is just leading her on, and using her to help him; he eventually falls in love with her. It is also rumoured that he caused Naru to become pregnant, and persuaded her to terminate the pregnancy. As he lay dying in Naru 's arms, she screamed that she had the abortion.

Demise: He fell in love with the young Naru Osaka as he was being pursued by the vindictive Zoisite. This lead to Zoisite being able to kill Nephrite, and assume his position of being responsible for collecting human energy on behalf of Queen Beryl.

Personal Growth: He learned about love because of Naru Osaka 's feelings for him. He eventually returned these feelings, but was unable to escape the evil ways of Zoisite and the Dark Kingdom. Zoisite, who had become a fierce enemy, managed to send attackers to kill him. There he died in Naru 's arms, but he was free of the darkness and evil of the Dark Kingdom.
